I currently have about two hundred refrigerator magnets from all over the world. I started collecting them years ago while traveling around the USA: they’re cheap (don’t make a big dent in the travel funds!), they’re small (don’t take up much room!), and they’re everywhere. I still buy them wherever I go and occasionally get additions from my brother or friends, who sometimes pick one up for me if they go somewhere interesting. I like ‘em as kitschy and as tacky as possible.
Well, I often get obsessed with things. I love stuff!! So it's more like "what don't you collect?" For now, I seem to be accumulating Pirate cards, animal figurines (particularly carved wood or stone ones), anything Mystery Science Theater 3000 related, Cats By Nina items, anything cat-related, yarn, knitting books/patterns, seashells, rocks, fossils, raw gemstones, Sanrio items (like Hello Kitty, etc.), artwork by Kay McDonagh, stamps, magnets, yadda, yadda, yadda.... Oh, and cats. ^.^ But don't get me a cat. Seriously. :-P
I love old copper but only collect pieces I can use in some way. I currently have yarn and knitting projects in an old wash tub, what's called a washing machine (?), and a pot. I have needles in what could be a big copper vase (not antique or old). I also love vases -- since I love to have flowers around when they're blooming.

I collect cookies cutters. I have about 100 cutters. My collection includes tin, copper, plastic, mostly new (but some antique).
I don't collect anything...other than knitting buddies!
